FAQ
Questions? We've got answers.
Everything you need to know before you make the switch.
Do you build websites as well?
Yes. We design and build websites for dog care businesses from £200, then £14.99 a month keeps it live, secure and looked after, with changes made for you rather than through a site builder you have to learn. You don’t need a WoofBook subscription. If you do use WoofBook, your site links straight into online booking and registration. Urban Mutts in West London runs on one, see Websites.
Can I move my data over from my current system?
Yes, and we'll help you do it. Moving off another system is the part everyone dreads, so we'll work with you to bring your Pawrents, dogs, and bookings across. You won't be starting from a blank page.
How long does setup take?
Getting into WoofBook takes minutes. Tuning it to your business is worth a proper sit-down session, because this is where you set exactly how you charge: pay-as-you-go by the hour, set session rates, half and full days, additional hours, memberships, boarding, grooming, whatever your business does. Once those parameters are dialled in, WoofBook runs the way you run.
Do my clients need to download an app?
No download required. Pawrents use WoofBook right in their browser. On iPhone they can add it to their home screen in seconds (tap Share, then Add to Home Screen) and it opens and behaves just like a native app. A dedicated app is on our roadmap.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with 14 days free, with no subscription fee to pay while you get a real feel for WoofBook. WoofBook's 0.75% platform fee on card payments still applies during the trial.
Am I locked into a contract?
Never. WoofBook is month to month and you can cancel any time. Prefer to pay annually? You'll get two months free, but the choice is always yours.
Are there any hidden fees?
No setup fees, no per-seat charges, no surprises. Your customers' payments are processed by Stripe at their standard rates, and WoofBook adds a flat 0.75% on card transactions and £0 on Direct Debit.
When and how do I get paid?
Directly, into your own bank account. Payments run through Stripe Connect, so funds land with you. WoofBook never holds your money.
How do I get support?
Whenever you need us, we're here. We're a small, friendly team that genuinely wants to see your business grow, so reach out any time and we'll be happy to help.
